We are Pure Cake Co., an artisan bakery operating as a unit of Nikhil Bakery, located at Sector 89, Gurugram, Haryana 122505, India.
This website (purecake.in) and our WhatsApp ordering service are operated by us. "We," "us," and "our" refers to Pure Cake Co. / Nikhil Bakery.
We operate under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, and the rules framed thereunder.
What We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to process your order and deliver it to you.
Identity Information
Your name, as provided when placing an order via WhatsApp, phone, or our website.
Contact Information
Your phone number and/or email address, to confirm your order and arrange delivery.
Delivery Address
Your address and pincode within Gurugram, shared when requesting home delivery.
Order Details
Items ordered, customisation requests, and order history for customer support purposes.
We do not collect payment card details — all payments are cash on delivery or UPI directly, with no card data on our systems.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, messages are visible to us as part of that conversation. WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs their processing of that data.
How We Use It
We use your personal information strictly for the following purposes:
Processing & Confirming Orders
To confirm what you've ordered, send a confirmation, and ensure the right cake is prepared for you.
Arranging Delivery
To coordinate home delivery to your Gurugram address, including communicating delivery time and status.
Customer Support
To address any issues, complaints, or queries related to your order.
Improving Our Service
Aggregate, anonymous order data helps us understand popular products. No personal data is used for this.

Only if you have subscribed to our newsletter or opted in via WhatsApp. You can opt out at any time.
Data Storage & Security
Your order information is stored securely in our backend database, hosted on Supabase (a SOC 2 Type II certified provider) with servers in the Asia region. Access is restricted to authorised Pure Cake Co. staff only.
We retain order records for up to 12 months to handle post-order queries, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no internet-based system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@purecake.in.
