These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pure Cake Co. website and your orders with us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written plainly and fairly. If you have any questions, reach us at info@purecake.in before ordering.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (purecake.in) or placing an order with Pure Cake Co. (a unit of Nikhil Bakery), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not place an order. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; the latest version will always be published on this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of India and comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Ordering Process
All orders are placed via WhatsApp at +91 98213 92876, by calling us, or by visiting our store at Sector 89, Gurugram. Our website currently serves as a catalogue; the actual order is confirmed through WhatsApp.
An order is confirmed only when we send you an acknowledgement message via WhatsApp or phone. Browsing our menu or sending a WhatsApp inquiry does not constitute a confirmed order.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion — for example, if the requested item is unavailable, if delivery to your address is not feasible, or in the event of a pricing error on our website.
Please ensure all delivery details (address, pincode, contact number, and preferred delivery time) are accurate when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
Pricing & Payment
All prices listed on our website and WhatsApp catalogue are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed to you via WhatsApp at the time of order confirmation.
We currently accept the following payment methods:
Cash on Delivery
Pay in cash when your order arrives at your door.
UPI / QR Code
Pay via any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.
In-Store
Cash or UPI at our store in Sector 89.
We do not currently accept credit or debit card payments online. No card details are stored on our systems.
Delivery
Delivery area: We currently deliver within select Gurugram pincodes. You can check if we deliver to your area using the Delivery Checker on our website or by messaging us on WhatsApp.
Delivery timing: Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of order confirmation and are approximate. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or high order volume, particularly during festivals or weekends. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.
Delivery charges: Any applicable delivery charges will be communicated at the time of order confirmation and will be clearly stated before you confirm.
Failed deliveries: If we are unable to deliver due to the customer being unavailable, an incorrect address, or an inaccessible location, we will attempt to contact you. If contact cannot be made, the order may be cancelled and no refund will be issued for perishable goods that cannot be held.
Care on receipt: All cakes are perishable. Please refrigerate your cake immediately upon delivery and consume within the timeframe indicated on the packaging or communicated at the time of order.
Cancellation & Refunds
Because our cakes are freshly made to order, cancellations and refunds are subject to timing.
Cancellation — Standard Orders
You may cancel a standard (non-custom) order with a full refund if cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time. Cancellations within 12 hours will not be eligible for a refund as preparation may have already begun.
Cancellation — Custom & Designer Orders
Custom cakes (including Designer and personalised orders) require significant advance preparation. Cancellations after baking or decoration has commenced are not eligible for a refund. We will inform you of the latest cancellation time when your custom order is confirmed. An advance payment may be required for custom orders.
Quality Issues & Refunds
If your cake arrives damaged, spoiled, or significantly different from what was ordered, please send us a photo via WhatsApp within 2 hours of delivery. We will assess the issue and offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund at our discretion. We take quality seriously and will always work to make things right.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds for UPI payments will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment source. Cash refunds will be coordinated directly.
Custom Orders
Custom cakes are priced on a case-by-case basis depending on design complexity, size, flavour, and decoration requirements. A quote will be shared via WhatsApp before any order is confirmed.
Custom order details (design, theme, message, colours) must be clearly communicated and confirmed via WhatsApp. Pure Cake Co. will not be held responsible for design discrepancies arising from unclear or incomplete instructions.
We reserve the right to decline custom orders that we consider inappropriate, offensive, or technically not feasible with our current capabilities.
An advance payment of 50% may be required for large or highly customised orders. This will be communicated clearly at the time of quote.
Please allow adequate lead time for custom orders — typically a minimum of 48–72 hours for standard custom cakes and 5–7 days for complex designer or tiered cakes. During peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas, Valentine's Day), longer lead times may apply.
Quality & Complaints
All Pure Cake Co. products are made fresh with quality ingredients and zero preservatives. Our kitchen maintains high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Allergens: Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and other common allergens. While we take care, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination. If you or someone in your household has a severe allergy, please inform us when placing your order and we will advise accordingly.
Shelf life: All cakes should be refrigerated and consumed within the time stated on the packaging or as communicated by our team. Pure Cake Co. cannot accept responsibility for cakes that are not stored correctly after delivery.
To raise a complaint, WhatsApp us at +91 98213 92876 with photos within 2 hours of delivery. We aim to respond to all complaints within 24 hours.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Pure Cake Co. / Nikhil Bakery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Our maximum liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, civil unrest, or third-party delivery failures.
Intellectual Property
All content on purecake.in — including text, images, logos, design, and product names — is the property of Pure Cake Co. / Nikhil Bakery and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
We hope it never comes to that — if you have any dispute or grievance, please reach out to us directly first and we will do our best to resolve it amicably.
